We’re getting word out of Bethesda that Fallout New Vegas, a spin off title announced last year, of Fallout 3, is going to making it’s way to shelves around autumn time this year for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

The trailer they released to accompany this tidbit of news is very similar to the original Fallout 3 trailer, but gives us even less information, other than we can assume it’s based in the Las Vegas area. I’m real good at this blogging job you know… There are a few perculiaties for a Fallout game that I not-so-observantly spotted however. First one being that the city actually, although it’s from a distance, resembles one. There appears to be in-tact buildings and lights on, which whatever the state on the ground, is far more city like than Washington DC was after the nuclear apocolypse.

I also, hate to admit it, but get a Wall-E vibe from the little robot performing a relatively slow job of burying a body, although I don’t remember the hand of the corpse in thatĀ particularĀ film, but maybe in the DVD extras. One thing I can already say is, excellent choice of soundtrack again, as an ever so ironic Blue Moon plays through the trailer.
