I liked the original Bioshock. Still do in fact, and despite the mixed ideas that have been floating around the internet over the game’s direction, that is putting you in the role of a prototype Big Daddy in a Rapture that has descended further into madness.  I probably liked the setting of the original far more than the game play, so anything that expands that is hopefully onto a winner for me.

Well, Take2 are still going to be pushing Bioshock 2 to be a huge release on February 9th, so they have released this launch trailer on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, something which I obviously don’t watch, but has a nice wide, mainstream audience reach, so makes sense for them to push the trailer on here. One question I do ask, is seeing as though nobody expected Bioshock 1 to be such a fantastic title and worth spiritual sequal to System Shock 2, why are people needing convincing about Bioshock 2. How about we do that thing where we wait till the game is out and then review it. Just saying.
