It was possibly the biggest adverstising event in the world last night. The US Superbowl, as well as attracting thousands to the stadium, is watched by millions in pubs, clubs and living rooms across the world and therefore is seen by advertisers as a prime target to bombard us with the blockbusters of the advertising world. Sometimes.

This year, all the unfounded speculation of what was going to appear was instead surpassed by Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. The video game-movie tie in, based roughly on the PS2 era games in the series, is coming to cinema’s soon, promoting action, romance and lots of playing with time.

I didn’t really expect to see this becoming as big a blockbuster as it has been hyped or to be, or it’s just a marketing budget it felt like blowing. Either way, here is the trailer. Now I’m going to go collapse, following a podcast/Video series recording which ended up being crazy long. Expect nothing coherent on GE for quite some time…
