Nope, not much yet, 'cept these dudes look angry and cold.

As what usually happens we report up to the minute news on our Ignition Podcast, we are instantly out of date as soon as we go live. Guerrilla Games recently had a press conference in their home town of Amsterdam and James Gallagher, a Content Produced at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, posted on the Official Playstation Blog about his trip and his experience.

Whilst Gallagher was obviously full of praise for the game, the screen shots that he brought back with him does show the Arctic levels that the GamePro magazine was talking about, as well as talking about the jetpacks and the worsening situation for the ISA.

The political struggle in Helghan is leaving the ISA troops in a middle of  a rather nasty political spat, with some big players vying for power. However, this also means that the Helghan are on the way up, explaining the new technology that is going to be heading the players way. They are also working on the multi-player component, but no news about that yet, no doubt E3 will be the place to be for that one.

If we haven't bored you, here is some more:

  1. Killzone 3- Teaser Trailer, Helmet Stealer
  2. Tony Hawk: Shred, first screens revealed
  3. HYDRO THUNDER HURRICANE! Screens and Videos
  4. Left 4 Dead 2, The Official Format Word
  5. Killzone 3 Announcement (apparantly)

Josh Dean

Josh came to Game-Engine after running several other “web destinations” into the ground with constant re-designs and feature sets. After founding a website based about games, which again, suffered the fate of a perfectionist, yet poor, designer, Game Engine was created as a way to channel those energies in the direction of a poor, vunerable website. Afer co-founding Game Engine on a historic moment in intergalatic history, Josh turned his attention to web development yet again, muddled through it, and then started to “write” about what is probably his most normal interest, video games. Now Josh has expanded into poorly recorded screen captures and talking into cameras with painstaking conviction, as well as keeping up playing a lot of video games, then claiming that they are either ‘awesome’ or ‘rubbish’.
